China GDP grows 5% in Q1, beats expectations on exports, spending strength
NIO Inc. (NIO) delivered 35,486 vehicles in March 2026, representing a 136% increase compared to the same period last year, according to a company statement.
The March deliveries included 22,490 vehicles from the NIO brand, 6,877 from the ONVO brand, and 6,119 from the FIREFLY brand. For the first quarter of 2026, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer delivered 83,465 vehicles, marking a 98.3% year-over-year increase.
The company’s cumulative deliveries reached 1,081,057 vehicles as of March 31, 2026. NIO trades on the New York Stock Exchange, Hong Kong Exchange, and Singapore Exchange.
The company reported that its NIO All-New ES8 SUV reached 80,000 deliveries within 181 days of its launch on March 20, 2026. NIO stated the model held the top position in China’s large SUV segment for three consecutive months across all energy types and price ranges.
NIO operates three vehicle brands: the premium NIO brand, the family-oriented ONVO brand, and the FIREFLY brand focused on compact premium electric vehicles.
